As you already know, Crossway recently released my new book Did the Resurrection Really Happen?
As you probably also already know, Amazon has a massive magnitude of influence when it comes to what books people see and which products bookstores choose to place on their shelves.
One of the primary indices that buyers and bookstores rely on when making these decisions is the reviews on Amazon—and that’s where Did the Resurrection Really Happen? is lagging right now.
With that in mind, I have a request for you: Would you be willing to write a review of the book on Amazon?
“But wait!” I just heard you say. “I don’t have a copy of the book. Is he expecting me to buy one of his books just so that I can review it?”
“No, he’s not expecting that at all,” I gently reply, placing my hand on your too-tense shoulder. “He’s going to give you the book for free.”
“For free?” you whisper, tears straining at the edges of your eyelids like the buttons on Jabba the Hutt’s shirt if Jabba wore shirts. “A book for free, for me?”
“Yes, that’s right.” The mistiness in your eyes prevents you from seeing my face, but you hear my joyous words nonetheless as they echo through the room with such force that you feel like you might be floating inside a Wookiee’s larynx. “If you’ll simply scroll to the bottom of this post, there is a link that allows you to download a free copy of the book. Also, ‘a book for free, for me’ sounds like a bad parody of Dr. Seuss.”
Filled with more joy than a Star Wars fan who wakes up and realizes Jar Jar Binks was only a nightmare and George Lucas never actually put him in any Star Wars movies, you scroll quickly to the bottom of this page, download the book, read what it has to say, and write an Amazon review.
And they lived happily ever after.
Sniff-sniff.
