Did the Earliest Christians Believe the Bible Is Inerrant?
Or could it be that the concept of an error-free Bible is a recent invention?
A broad range of Christians from different denominational traditions agree that, if God can’t lie, his written revelation can’t lie either. Our trust in the truthfulness of Scripture is rooted in our belief in the trustworthy character of God.
“Infallibility” and “Inerrancy“ in the Early Church?
One of the most important terms that describes this truth is “infallibility.” The word “infallibility” comes from a Latin word that meant unable to deceive” or “not liable to err.”Another, more recent term to describe the truthfulness of Scripture is “inerrant,” a word that simply means “not in error.”
But did the earliest Christians actually believe in infallibility and inerrancy?

Great video Dr. Jones. Thanks for this resource.
