Paul and Silas—bone-weary, stock-locked, and rod-bruised—were awaiting their moment before the magistrate.
“And the prisoners were listening to them” (Acts 16:25).
And what the prisoners heard were the psalms and prayers of God’s people throughout centuries past.
The prisoners are still listening.
